Web copy

The charge: distill new, complex, and potentially sensitive concepts into 6th-grade reading level copy while optimizing for SEO and considering localization. Highlight: I worked with SMEs from both the medical and technology sectors to determine the most relevant questions for the comprehensive FAQ section–and to ensure accurate answers.

Product descriptions

Accurate descriptions of tech and specialty fabrics are only part of it. The real work of product descriptions is to get the customer to feel what it’s like wearing something. My lively, inspirational & thorough product descriptions vaulted conversion rates up to 3% above industry average.

Live event scripting

Imagine this: Trade show-sized floor-to ceiling LED screens, a room full of healthcare professionals, a live emcee interacting with a virtual background and actors. That’s the actual application of this video, where I humanized healthcare technology by centering it on one patient’s journey. This is one of 7 stops along the way.

Social

I was new to this team but familiar with the client’s voice across other channels, so I suggested spicing things up just a bit by incorporating emojis into the standard copy. Such a seemingly simple add, but it directed future conversations to land just a little bit outside the box.

Conversion copy

I wrote all email content for my company and can boast a 50% average open rate and 16% click rate without flash sales or “last-chance” subject lines. Just relevant, enticing, valuable, and well-timed content that led to most product launches selling out within days of a campaign. I use the same tactics for all my clients, because I believe authenticity breeds fandom.

B2B

B2B = NDA. But here are some clients I’ve written for: Boeing, Ford, Intel, Philips, PWC, Microsoft, Porsche, & T-Mobile. Mostly video scripts that distill really large, sometimes wonky initiatives into bite-sized, mouth-watering, belly-warming nibbles that leave decision-makers wanting more.

Blog posts

I founded a clothing company in 2014, which meant I did everything from copywriting to designing to logistics. The writing ended up being my favorite part, and so here we are.
This my all time favorite blog post. A story about my company’s values through the lens of a one night stand–and pockets.
